Applications for admission should include as much educational and psychological information as possible about the applicant. The more we know about an applicant, the better we can assess the quality of the match between the applicant's needs and our program.

Information that we need is usually found in reports of psychiatric evaluations,ÃSpsychological testing,ÃSsocial history, and educational evaluations. We would also want to review transcripts and anecdotal reports of the applicant's course in previous school and hospital settings. These will help us to predict whether Summit can make a positive, significant difference in the applicant's life.

If an application is rejected at this stage, we will make a recommendation for an alternative referral.

The four sections that follow outline the admissions process in greater detail. We also provide an online application for you to download.
