If the application material describes a child who might benefit from Summit's program, the Clinical Director will contact the family to arrange a pre-placement interview. This interview includes a tour of the campus, and takes the form of a psychiatric interview with the child and the family.ÊThe interview is conducted by an admissions team consisting of our Executive Director, Principal, Director of Children's Services, and Clinical Director.
The pre-placement interview serves to give the child, family, and admissions team the information they need to make an informed decision.ÊIt also provides an opportunity to define the issues and options that are necessary for the child and the family to make a voluntary commitment to change.
